Logging in Scala Applications?

I need to implement some form of logging. Should I just wrap log4j or
is there a better approach?

Why do you want to wrap it, why not use it (or slf4j,...) directly ?

If nothing else, a few traits to provide a more scalified (scala-ble?)
API would help significantly.
